Evan M. Krauss currently serves with United Way of Greater St. Louis as the Director of East Side Aligned, a collective impact movement to align policy, practice and investment across sectors to improve the readiness and well-being of children and youth within the East St. Louis area.

Previous positions with United Way include serving as the Director of Faith Community Mobilization, responsible for strengthening program and service delivery systems of faith-based organizations, and as a Volunteer Center Manager, where he administered programs to cultivate the next generation philanthropists and coordinated large-scale volunteer initiatives.

Evan has also worked professionally within city government, public education and various diversity and anti-oppression organizations.

Volunteer leadership has included serving as President of the Urban League Young Professionals of Metropolitan St. Louis and as a board member for Community Conflict Services of Metropolitan St. Louis and Greenwood Cemetery Preservation Association.

Evan attended Saint Louis University, where he earned undergraduate degrees in Social Work, Urban Affairs and Business Administration. He earned his Master’s of Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
